National Public Lands Day

On Saturday, September 29, 2007, hundreds of southern Illinoisans turned out to conduct litter cleanups at the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge and at Rend Lake.

Volunteers picked up a tremendous amount of litter at Rend Lake on Saturday, September 29, 2007. Thank you SIUC Geography Club and Boy Scouts who are shown in these photos. The US Army Corps of Engineers put on a great event once again!
