April 6, 2008 Piles Fork Creek clean up by Alpha Zeta

On Sunday, April 6th, members of the SIUC Alpha Zeta Fraternity, a professional, honorary and service organization of agriculture and natural resources students conducted a litter cleanup in Carbondale. The group cleaned up Piles fork Creek just north of the SIUC campus. Alpha Zeta also separated recyclables from the general refuse/litter and recycled a good percentage of the materials collected.
