Keep Carbondale Beautiful Clean up Day

On Saturday, April 19, 2008, on a cool and wet morning, Keep Carbondale Beautiful sponsored another highly successful Carbondale cleanup day. Volunteers represented a cross-section of the community and included young children working along side of their parents or youth group leaders, a large number of Southern Illinois University Carbondale students, high school & grade school students, environmental groups, and individuals who simply appreciated the opportunity to make a difference.
