Alto Pass Beautification Day April 30, 2011
Donald E. Rehmer, Mayor of the Village of Alto Pass thanked the volunteers for a productive Alto Pass Beautification Day:
"Thank you all for coming down to Alto Pass on Saturday April 30th to lend your assistance to our clean up event. A great deal was accomplished through your efforts! Skyline Road from Jamestown Road all the way back to town was totally cleaned. Chestnut Street from Gray's farm back into town was cleaned. State route 127 from Main Street to the Alto Pass Cemetery was cleaned. The Quetil Trail was also cleaned. All of the planters in town were weeded and replanted as well. We appreciate your efforts and you should know that I was
stopped on the streets later that afternoon by citizens of Alto Pass who expressed their appreciation. Your impact was definitely noticed!"
"I hope you had an enjoyable time in Alto Pass this past weekend. Please visit us again at your earliest convenience. We are having SpringFest on May 28th for anyone who is here over the summer. We also have a Fall Fest as well if you're here next semester. I thank you again for your time and your efforts. This is an extremely busy time of year anyway, current flooding issues notwithstanding. We are glad you came to help us. Feel free to visit anytime....."
