Steeleville Beautification Day
Saturday, April 30th, groups of volunteers headed by Seeds of Steeleville (SOS) worked in the park where they planted flowers and added mulch, cleaned along entrances to town by picking up trash, spruced up Jaycees Park and worked around the old Hucks building.
About 50 kids and their parents took part, including members of the Boy Scouts and the Steeleville Jaycees took part of a larger program known as Beautify Southern Illinois.
