Friends of Giant City Invasive Plant Removal Workday
All are Welcome to participate in another Invasive Plant Removal workday scheduled for Tuesday, July 1st from 9 - 11 a.m. with Chris Evans. We will meet at the Visitors Center in Giant City State Park and carpool from there to the worksite. Please wear work clothes and perhaps work gloves. Tools provided but bring loppers if you can. Snacks and water available.

National Trails Day, June 7, 2008
Mark your calendars for National Trails Day! This is a wonderful event sponsored by the Shawnee National Forest and other groups and will be held at the Johnson Creek Day Use Area on Kinkaid Lake.
Volunteer to help work on a trail in the morning and lots of environmental education opportunities for kids in the afternoon. For additional information, see the flyer here.
