The Beautify Southern Illinois Campaign is a southern Illinois region-wide beautification campaign in which every southern Illinois county has its own Beautify Southern Illinois Committee. These county committees function autonomously with help and active participation of the community colleges of southern Illinois; city, county & state governments; business, civic and labor partners; students; and concerned citizens. The mission of the region-wide campaign is:

"Beautify Southern Illinois Campaign is dedicated to cleaning up the litter in southern Illinois, conducting positive environmental projects, and educating others on the importance of doing so in order to create environmental sustainability for the area."
